This is a bad sign, for those of us who shoot out on the streets, we already get lots of hassles. This is too far. This would put Robert Doisneau, Gary Winogrand, etc. etc. and (some of my work) out of business.

As part of the DeSoto building opening, Portland’s Museum of Contemporary Craft raffled off a ‘77 BMW 320i art car painted on-site by Tom Cramer. How cool is that.

Hopefully I didn’t mess anyone up, but I changed www.bradcarlile.com/wordpress to www.bradcarlile.com/blog. This just seemed a lot more straightforward for everyone. If you use the old name it should still work with the proper redirects.
If you are using wordpress and want to do the same there is this helpful link:

Wow! Blue Sky Gallery (122 NW 8th Ave, Portland OR) has a wonderful new space.
Thursday night I went to a preview party for members and supporters. A grand new place that will really allow shows to be hung in a way to enhance the works.
It has some nice high ceilings, and they kept [...]

One of the artists that I covered in my June 1st Thursday photoblog was Terri Cutz www.tcutzstudios.com.
Guess what I just saw on Margo Jacobsen’s Gallery website? Click to see Terri’s work at Margo’s website. As I mentioned about Terri’s paintings in the photoblog:
“This work needs to be seen in person as [...]
